If you are struggling with how you're feeling one of the most difficult things to do can be asking for help.

It's not always easy to talk about the things that are troubling us, so if you're not ready to talk yet there's lots of self help resources that can help.

On this page you can find lots of useful guides, audiobooks, courses, apps and a range of resources that you can use based on how you are feeling.

If you've tried some of these resources and you've decided that you'd like to talk to someone you'll also find advice on what to do next.

None of these options describe how I'm feeling

That's OK. We are here to help and provide services across Sheffield to support you.

You can access our services by going to see your GP, who will talk to you about what's wrong and suggest a course of action. They may then refer you to one of our services.

Our community mental health services provide support at home to anyone who has complex or ongoing mental health needs.

Or you may be referred to our specialist mental health support services depending on your individual circumstances. They provide specialist therapies or individual support to help you manage your symptoms and live independently.

You can see a full list of our services and the referral criteria here.
