We provide care and support to thousands of people across Sheffield every year who all have very different needs, but NHS funding can only go so far.

We set up the Sheffield Health and Social Care Charity to help raise funds for the little extra things that make a big difference to the lives of the people we support.

Whether that’s buying extra gym equipment and for people staying on our inpatient wards, funding a new greenhouse and plants for the garden at our Dementia ward or buying Christmas presents for people who are with us over the festive period, our charitable funds can help.

Our charity relies on the generous donations and fundraising done by staff and members of the public, and that’s where you can help.

How can I help fundraise?

We’re always looking for new ways to help raise funds for our service users. We’ve had everything from a team of runners complete the Sheffield Half Marathon and the Great North Run, to skydiving and bungee jumping.

If you’ve got an idea for a fundraising event that you would like to organise or take part in, we’d love to hear from you.

Below are some fundraising activities that we have confirmed places for in 2020, if you’d like to take part just let us know.

You don’t have to run an event or take part in an activity to raise funds for the charity.

If you would like to make a donation to the Sheffield Health and Social Care Charity we have set up a Virgin Money Giving page that’s really easy to use.
