We are a multi-faith team of chaplains (Camran, Sally, Siobhan and Tim) and chaplaincy volunteers, offering spiritual and religious care.

Our support is for service users on our inpatient wards, their families and carers, and for staff.

We don’t support service users in the community, but can provide guidance to staff over the phone or by email.

We are here for people of all faiths and people of no faith.

We seek to listen, with compassion, helping people to explore their own sources of strength, comfort and hope.

Supporting our service users

We regularly visit all our inpatient sites to lead groups and worship services and to see service users individually. We facilitate the celebration of religious festivals throughout the year.

We have multi-faith rooms which you are welcome to use as a place to pray, to take a break and to have a quiet space to reflect and find peace.

Supporting carers

We offer confidential support to carers and relatives whose loved ones are being cared for by us.

If you are caring for someone who has mental health difficulties we run a carers group on the first Wednesday of every month between 2pm and 4pm in the chapel at the Michael Carlisle Centre.

This is a safe space for you to talk about how you’re feeling and focus on your needs.

Supporting staff

We support staff across the Trust who have had difficult experiences and need space to talk and someone to listen to them.

We encourage staff to use our multi-faith chapels and prayer rooms to take a break and have time to reflect on their work.
