The Crisis House offers an alternative to admission to our acute mental health inpatient wards for people in Sheffield aged 18 or over.

They provide therapeutic recovery in a homely environment where an individual cannot be supported at home during a mental health crisis.

The service is contracted to Rethink Mental Illness who are the registered provider with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

How is the service accessed?

Referrals to the Crisis House are accepted from our Recovery Services, Liaison Psychiatry and other secondary mental health services.

All referrals should include a crisis assessment and Detailed Risk Assessment (DRAM).
