Hundreds of runners created a blue wave at Sheffield parkrun events this weekend as NHS staff, volunteers and local communities combined to celebrate the 75th birthday of the NHS.

Staff from Sheffield Health and Social Care (SHSC) and trainee clinicians from Sheffield Hallam were toasted at a celebration birthday party on 5 July, the 75th birthday of the NHS.

Sheffield Hallam University and Sheffield Health and Social Care NHS Foundation Trust (SHSC) are today co-hosting a celebratory NHS 75 gala at Sheffield Hallam’s Collegiate Campus.
