Sun:Rise

The Service User Network – Relevant Inclusive Supportive Exciting, also known as Sun:Rise, is a monthly forum which enables mental health service users to be informed, involved and engaged in the Trust.

Sun:Rise reports to the quarterly in-patient forum and the Trust via the Sun:Rise facilitator.

The format of the group is a business meeting followed by invited guest speakers and informal networking.

The group has a role as a service-user consultation group for service changes and research proposals.

Sun:Rise is expanding all the time, with groups now established on the in-patient wards and in both the North and South Recovery Services.

Any mental health service user is welcome to attend the group. Staff and students are welcome to attend the speaker sessions, as well as the business meeting by prior arrangement.

We aim to have an informal but respectful, business-like environment.

Our next meeting

Sun:Rise takes place face to face at Sheffield Flourish, 4 Windrush Way, Sheffield S3 8JU and on Microsoft Teams.
