Unlocking potential through our digital literacy programme

Our digital literacy project is helping staff at SHSC gain vital skills, from navigating emails and online forms to accessing wellbeing resources and training platforms.

Our most recent workshops have given housekeepers from across SHSC the opportunity to learn in a safe space. They have been tailored to meet practical needs with hands-on support and guidance.

You can hear from Fiona Czarnecki, senior business architect and one of the programme leads, and some of the housekeepers involved in the project in the video below as they share their experiences and the impact this training has had on their work and wellbeing.

Nejat and Barbra

Barbra and Nejat have also been part of the digital literacy programme, here's what they had to say about being involved.

"I've found it really helpful, everyone has been really encouraging. Give it a chance, give it a try - everyone needs to learn and you can learn so much". - Barbra.

"Now I'm excited, I know how to search on my phone and the computer. I'm not scared anymore, I can login now. My advice would be just keep trying, you can do it and learn more". - Nejat.

This is just the beginning! The programme will continue to grow and develop, creating even more opportunities for support and improvement across SHSC.
