The Trust’s Specialist Psychotherapy Service has a long history of providing a range of education and training courses, seminars and workshops, from basic to advanced, for mental health practitioners wishing to develop their knowledge and skills in CBT.
We currently provide the following courses which are validated by Sheffield Hallam University:
- Postgraduate Diploma in Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapy
2-year part-time course leading to eligibility for accreditation and employment as a Cognitive Behavioural Psychotherapist
- Acceptance and Mindfulness-based Approaches to Psychotherapy
Postgraduate module – 12 days classroom-based
We also offer:
- Introduction to Cognitive Behavioural Therapy
12-day blended-learning module
- Developing Acceptance and Mindfulness-based Approaches to Psychotherapy

All of our courses are available to applicants from any region or location. Funded places are available for suitable applicants who work in the Yorkshire and Humber region.
People from outside the region, self-funders, or those funded by their employers should complete this form.
As part of our commission from Yorkshire and Humber LETB a limited number of funded places are available to suitably qualified and experienced NHS employees and those of accredited NHS partner organisations in the region.
People wishing to apply for a funded place should complete this application form.
