Do you manage/lead a team? How can you help your team to achieve their worklife balance? Send us examples of an activity you, as a team leader, have done to get your team involved in thinking about their worklife balance – maybe a shared lunch, a few people gong for a walk at break time?
Balance magazine has been designed as a FREE resource for NHS Trusts offering solutions and best practice initiatives for staff health and wellbeing in the workplace. Click on the magazine cover on the left to access this useful resource.
Do you know that taking a break actually makes us more productive, allowing us to recharge our batteries and is better for our mental wellbeing? Think about how you and others are currently working. Take a break, even if only for 5 minutes. Move around. Move away from the computer. Go and talk to someone or find somewhere quiet – whatever gives you more of a break. As part of our commitment to staff we ask you to make sure you TAKE A BREAK!
