Don't forget to fill in an entry form to tell us about any outdoor activity you have taken part in this month, in order to be in with a chance of winning £50 to improve your health and wellbeing.
August is the perfect time to be outdoors. Whether it's walking, running, cycling, canoeing, 5-a-side football, pony trekking or taking part in any sporting activity, this month we want you to take to the outdoors!
We have also put together some information about clubs and websites which will hopefully inspire you to get outdoors and try something new this month.

Following the success of this in March as part of Culture Month we have organised another two Public Art Walks around Sheffield City Centre. Julie Leeson will lead an hour's guided walk around the city centre taking in some of the more contemporary public pieces of art on display. The walks are FREE and open to SHSC staff and their families, and suitable for all.
Walks will take place on both Wednesday 15th August and Thursday 23rd August, meeting at 5:30pm in Barker's Pool (outside John Lewis entrance).
To book a place please contact angela.draper@shsc.nhs.uk.

Loved the Olympics? Now it’s time to bring the celebrations back to where it began for every Team GB athlete – their local sports club.
'Join In Local Sport' is a national celebration of everyone who helps to make an Olympian – from the coaches to the tea ladies, the competitors to the volunteers and supporters.
On the 'Join In Weekend' on 18th and 19th August, thousands of clubs and community groups around the UK will be holding fun, free events and activities for all ages – and you’re invited! Many 'Join In' events will also be happening throughout the two weeks between the Olympics and Paralympics (13th to 28th August).
No country has ever done anything like this before. It is the UK’s biggest celebration of local sport – and 'Join In' needs your help to make it as amazing as possible.
