Silver award for 12-for-12 campaign

The ‘12-for-12’ Staff Health and Wellbeing Campaign has been rewarded with a national award.  The campaign has been awarded a silver certificate from the NHS Sport & Physical Activity Challenge, a scheme inspired by the 2012 Games to promote a healthy lifestyle and encourage and support staff to get more physically active.

The health and wellbeing of NHS staff is important to delivering quality care for patients.  The ‘12-for-12’ campaign at SHSC has focused on offering staff a range of enjoyable activities each month to help support their health and wellbeing.  There are only two months left to run, with Swim Month in July and Outdoor Month in August.  For more details please visit the 12-for-12 web page.
